Production Times
All our Ducati aftermarket fairing kits and fairing parts are produced on demand. We work this way as there are simply too many colours‚ styles‚ models and years for us to be able to stock all the possibilities that are available to you as our customer.

Once you place your order with us‚ we will put your order into production as soon as your payment has cleared.

The production process involves the following steps:

  • The checking of your order and any additional requirements you made to ensure they are clear to us.
  • The production of fairing parts from our injection mould machines if we don't already have them in stock.
  • Preparation for paint & decals, painting and finally clearcoat over the top to give your kit a durable finish.
  • Checking of your fairing parts and packaging ready for shipment to your door.
  • If your kits a custom or non-standard design‚ there are extra steps we take‚ that will add additional days to production and checking of your order. This is necessary to ensure your design criteria can be met.
  • If we are required to make changes to panels due to production mistakes this will also add additional days to the production process as it can be an involved process once paint and decals have been applied.
  • At any stage in production if there is a delay we will notify and work with you to quickly rectify the issue.

The full production process typically takes around 10-15 working days. If the kit you ordered requires design‚ color changes or both you should allow extra days for production as it's a longer process.

Fairing kits pictured represent approximate colors and decals with variations between batches due to each aftermarket fairing kit being produced & painted using materials available to the factory at the time of production. Some fairing kit pictures show painted metal tanks, tank covers, screens and rear seat cowls but these are not provided unless the chosen fairing kits product description specifically says so.

If your kit is a complex order with detailed changes‚ we will on occasion make post production pictures available for you to approve before we ship the item, or items to your door but this is done on a case by case basis.

When we produce a kit to your special requirements any design changes you make after production has begun may incur additional charges depending on the circumstances and the change requested.

Paint & Decals
We produce a multitude of designs to suit almost everybody's needs yet nearly half of all fairing kits we produce have some level of customisation of either colours or decals for our customers. You don't need to settle for what's advertised on our site if your minds set on something unique. Please note that there may be a charge depending on the level of customisation required.

For us to custom design a kit for you we will need detailed pictures showing a level of detail that the design and paint team can follow with ease. This means closeups of any decals you require and views showing the front, sides and rear of the bike. We always check the design required before production begins in case the design is more complex than we can produce. We are not able to produce special colors such as fluro or multi-layer paint schemes and not all decals can be produced.

Multilayer paint‚ vinyl wrapping‚ and other types of specialist paints jobs are outside of the scope of what we can produce given the affordability of our product. Custom paintwork and vinyl wraps cost substantially more than we charge and often run into thousands of dollars. If there is not enough detail for production in the pictures provided by you‚ we will request more from you.

If your unable to produce enough design detail for the design team‚ we can produce graphics for you to approve before production begins but any required graphic design will be charged out at $80aud per hour‚ and this will need to be prepaid before we begin the design process.

We can fill headlight, indicator and rear seat holes to suit various requirements for an additional fee and this is a great option if you're going for a street legal race bike look.

Color Matching
We cannot guarantee an exact color match against other panels on your existing kit or tank. This is due to several factors including color matching differences, paint fade, different undercoats and layers, and other similar factors. A good paint shop will charge hundreds of dollars to match any color 100% correctly as it's a very time-consuming job. For this reason, we are unable to match colors 100% perfectly we will however try to match within the technical constraints, time and budget allocated.

A major factor in color matching is that there are several paint systems‚ different factories and manufacturers often using proprietary systems with variations on color mix's due to different paint characteristics. Below are two examples of kits we have produced for our customers that highlight slight differences in color between the existing tanks and new aftermarket Ducati and Ducati fairing kits. If you can't live with this difference your option would be to either paint the tank to match or buy genuine OEM (factory) fairing kit parts.

Kawasaki color match compaired to tank

We highly recommend getting your tank painted to match the new fairing kit once you have it as this provides the best and most affordable option. We are unable to provide paint with our kits due to the substantial cost of shipping paint as its classed as dangerous goods by airlines. Getting your tank painted locally costs less than you might expect‚ and most modern paint shops can quickly paint your tank to match. If you need tank decals‚ we will provide these for free with the fairing kit so long as you ask us for them in the order "notes section" during checkout.

What’s Supplied
All our kits come complete with all the main fairing panels‚ painted & decaled to get your bike back to its former glory, this includes the front guard, front upper fairing, left and right sides including belly pan and of course the full rear ducktail fairing. Most kits also come with many of the smaller fill panels that mount around your tank or front fairing. If you're unsure if the parts you require are with one of our kits feel free to contact us and we will provide you with the information required.

We almost always supply a free screen with our kits as an added bonus however our fairing kits do not include bolt kits or push pins. Our experience with free bolts kits is that they are typically made from cheap aluminium alloy and do not work well for a fairing kit install so we don't supply this sort of thing. We can offer you good honest advice on how to get bolts‚ clips‚ push pins and fit your kit if you contact us as we have a lot of knowledge in this area.

Not all Ducati fairing kit images show the small fill panels and parts included in a complete fairing kit as the pictures are just a representation of the color schemes we can produce. We don't paint many of the smaller fill panels as typically paint does not take well to these smaller plastic parts.

Quality of Product
Our fairing kits are produced from ABS plastic beads and are always injection moulded unless otherwise specified. All our Ducati aftermarket fairing kits and parts come fully painted and decaled with all the mounting points and holes ready to mount them to your bike.

Fit and finish is very good as all our injection moulded fairing kits but in some case there can be variations and small design changes from your factory panels. Changes can include the way parts clip together and in some cases may require you to
re-use some of the OEM factory hardware from your old panels but remember our kits cost a fraction of the price of Ducati OEM factory fairings and still represent excellent value.

We have fitted and tested many of the kits we sell and continually do this along with gathering feedback from our customers. We do not sell new products without either first testing them ourselves or notifying and discounting a new product for a customer in order to gather feedback during the fitment of the kit.

We have more than ten years of experience with aftermarket fairing kits‚ so if you need any advice before ordering please contact us using our contact page in the links above.

If you're having difficulty fitting a kit and your bikes been in an accident it's possible that fitting a new kit may be difficult or impossible due to bent subframes and mounting points. You need to ensure your bikes mounting points are all in good order before attempting to fit a new fairing kit.

Fairing Panels are extruded directly from an injection mould machine with all mounting points and holes produced during this process. The injection moulding process ensures a more accurate fit of the finished fairing panels to your motorbike as opposed to older compression or press moulded kits.

Heat Shielding
Most of our kits come with free heat shielding but if you’re running an aftermarket exhaust system or headers it’s your responsibility to add more at any point where your exhaust system comes within close proximity of any fairing parts. Be aware even OEM panels can warp and melt if heatshield is not applied correctly where there are extreme heat sources close to panels.

Heat shielding is readily available at most automotive stores at very affordable prices. Heatshield is adhesive backed and very easy to work with.

Shipping Times
Shipping occurs within a few days of the finish of production and can take around 5-10 working days before the finished kit arrives at your door depending on your geographical location. Local customs in some countries can lengthen this process and this sort of thing is out of our control.

Shipping companies on occasion return kits to the factory for unspecified reasons, we will then check the package for damage before re-shipping it to you. This is not a common occurrence but in the advent of a delay we will notify you as soon as we are aware of it. Tracking numbers are provided for all items we ship but it often takes us few days to receive the tracking details and update your order accordingly.

Both New Zealand and the UK typically take longer to process imported items as they have rigorous customs procedures. For counties with tough import controls you need to add extra days to the shipping times.

Be aware if you live outside Australia local import charges may apply to your order‚ all imported items regardless of where you purchase them including eBay‚ Amazon‚ ali Express and other online stores may incur import duties and local taxes depending on your geographical location and local import laws. Typically import fees and are around $60aud and VAT or GST is calculated on the total price paid.

Most customs offices will ask to see payment and invoice details to ensure you’re paying the correct amount before they will release imported goods. Its typically cheaper to use a residential address as customs duties often cost more for delivery to a commercial business‚ as commercial businesses are often required to use Customs Brokers to have imported goods released.
